There are a lot more challenges that are faced by eBay nowadays. Another prominent challenge that eBay is currently facing is the selling through mobile devices. EBay nowadays is also facing allegations which state that it is actually monopolizing the online payments via PayPal, which eBay owned for a long time (October 2002). eBay does not believe in the concept of sales tax collection as it believed to hurt the small level merchants. It has further proposed that the retailers that make less than $5 million must be exempted from the sales tax.

eBay has a lot more challenges which it is facing. However the constant cases related to hacking or the fraud transactions are a serious challenge which it needs to control and overcome.
