  • Inheritance: Patients who have relatives who already have this condition generally suffer from the same.

Ways to prevent rosacea

Here are some ways you can prevent rosacea.

  • Use a lot of sunscreen when you go out: Exposure to the sun, especially harmful sun rays can cause severe rosacea. Therefore, try to get a sunscreen with at least 15 SPF.
  • Use mask and scarf during winter: Our skin gets drier in the cold. Therefore, remember to use proper protection during the winter.
  • Don’t touch or rub your face too much: Rubbing your face with a handkerchief or even your hand can irritate the skin. If you already have rosacea, try going for rosacea peels which help in restoring your skin’s health and appearance.
  • Check your skincare products before applying: Not all skin products in the market can be right for you. If you are prone to this skin problem, then you should be more careful. If you feel like using skin care products do consult with a certified dermatologist.
