Why You Should Index Your Backlinks

Backlinks are a commonly thrown around term in the search engine optimization world, and there are so many different ways that you can use them to your advantage when it comes to getting the most of your blog, forum, or website.  They are one of the biggest ways that you can have people that might not know about your website be able to search for it using a search engine and find it there in the results.  However, is just posting your backlinks enough to get your website noticed?  Should you look into having your backlinks indexed?  Keep reading to get our take on the issue.

If my links are not indexed, will they be rated?

Unfortunately, sites that are using regular links that most average bloggers would use are not going to have the same positive effects that others would use.  By just plugging your backlink into some random blog post, you are going to have quite the long road ahead of you when it comes to trying to get a search engine like Google to rank your site.  Even if the site eventually becomes ranked, it is highly likely that the site will not get a very high ranking.  So you have spent all of your time posting backlinks to forums and other sites that really don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things.

Why is backlink indexing more effective than regular backlinking?

As we said before, ping backlinks that are indexed by using standard links and standard blog posts will not have as effective of a chance as those who use indexing.  This is the reason you should index your backlinks!  By using a service that indexes your backlinks, you will be provided with a service that uses only the highest quality links for back linking.  Google and other search engines are more likely to notice that these particular backlinks are pertinent and have some relevance to the content on the page where it was posted, so it will be chosen to be indexed.  It is true that even with an excellent indexing service, this can take some time because of the vast amount of pages that search engines scour through to find good links.  However, by using an indexing service, most of the time your backlink is posted in various places, and multiple times.  This gives the search engine more of a chance to actually pick up on your link being valuable and add it to the index.

Sure, back linking seems to be all you need to make your website successful, but that just isn’t true.  Using backlinks should be paired with indexing to get the ultimate result.  It might seem easier to take on the task of doing the back linking yourself, but think about all of the time and money you will save by choosing a service to do it for you.  And in making that decision to choose an outside service, you are also giving yourself the privelege of having someone to do backlink indexing for you.  This is necessary in bringing those search results to the top and having repeat visitors at your page, which in the end does what you ultimately need: makes you money!
